Meghan A. McGlynn
Meghan A. McGlynn graduated, cum laude, in 1984 from Saint Louis University with her bachelor's degree in history. She then attended the Detroit College of Law, participating as a brief writer for the National Moot Court Administrative Law Competition and took first and second place in All-School Oral Advocacy Competitions. After graduating from law school in 1988, and for the last 35 years, Meghan has practiced predominantly in the field of insurance defense and focuses her practice on first and third party automobile cases, premises cases, dog bite cases, employment discrimination claims and daycare liability including abuse, neglect and sexual abuse. She has extensive trial experience having taken dozens of cases to trial. In addition to being a member of the State Bar of Michigan, Meghan is a bar member of the United States Supreme Court, the Eastern and Western Districts of Michigan as well as the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit and the Sixth Circuit.
Meghan is the past president of the St. Clair County Bar Association, a member of the St. Clair County Grievance Hearing panel, a case evaluator in Macomb, Lapeer, Sanilac and St. Clair Counties, became certified as a mediator in 2008 and is a past member of the Character and Fitness Committee, District D, for the State of Michigan.
